Hi, I’m Jaqui McCarthy, Cofounder and CEO at WiGo Trips, mother, and traveler.

After organizing a group trip to Paris, being laid off from my corporate job, and starting a masters degree that would change my world view, I found myself on a new journey in search of meaning and purpose in a world that no longer seem to have any. 

Along my journey I realized that only two things matter:

* The memories we create
* The people we leave those memories with

It was then that I made it my mission, the WiGo Trips mission, to bring real, raw, and authentic connection into our digital world. A platform that empower people to live deeper, more intention driven lives through travel, by providing them with the tools, resources, and audience to travel for a living… or just for fun, while connecting kindred travelers to group trips and shared experiences, and so WiGo came to be.

As a woman, a Latina, and a “solo mom” the journey has been anything but easy. Our mission has kept me going, our mentors have made it less lonely, and watching everything evolve has made the struggles worth every moment. Because of the challenges I have been presented with, I am stronger now than ever before, and I hope that am able to share my story and inspire others to get out their, take a chance, and live their purpose too.
